The need for a landfill will arise when sorted waste collection starts.<\/p>\n

GENERAL<\/strong><\/p>\n

The paint protects the wood surface from the elements, reduces damage caused by moisture and extends the life of structures. A painted and well-maintained dump is resistant to time and weather. Proper painting and a good coat of paint will stay clean and retain its colour, keeping your house looking great.<\/p>\n

PAINTING CONDITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The surface to be painted must be dry. Maximum moisture content of wood: 20 % of the dry weight of the wood. During application and drying, the temperature of the air, the surface and the paint must be above +5 \u00b0C and the relative humidity below 80 %. The drier the wood surface to be treated, the better the coating is absorbed and the longer it lasts and protects.<\/p>\n

WEATHER SUITABLE FOR PAINTING<\/strong><\/p>\n

The best time to dye is between May and September. The ideal weather for painting is a long, cloudy, dry midsummer day, but you can paint your house at other times depending on the weather.<\/p>\n

Excessive humidity will reduce the tack of the paint, and dew that has fallen on the painted surface may mean repainting. After rain or washing, the surface to be painted must be allowed to dry completely before painting. Typically, the minimum temperature for exterior painting is +5 \u00b0C and the best range is +10 – +30 \u00b0C. The temperature must not drop below +5 \u00b0C even during drying.<\/p>\n

SUBMISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Preparatory work must be done well in advance of starting work.<\/p>\n

The final finish should be carefully thought through beforehand. For painting large areas, e.g. a single wall, the required amount should be mixed. This avoids differences in tone and visible transitions. Transitions and continuations should be planned at break points such as corners, window edges, trims, etc.<\/p>\n

SURFACE CLEANING<\/strong><\/p>\n

Replace damaged wood with new wood. If the knife goes easily into the wood or if grey chips are released, the wood is not suitable for staining.<\/p>\n

Use a scraper and a blade brush to remove loose and weakly adhered paint.<\/p>\n

Wash dirty and mouldy surfaces with RENSA FACADE Facade Cleaner. Apply the detergent to the surface with a brush and rinse thoroughly with water.<\/p>\n

Excessive wetting of the surface to be painted should be avoided.<\/p>\n

Remove resin stains from the wood surface before painting.<\/p>\n

Carefully treat the end faces of the wood.<\/p>\n

WORKING RULES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do the preparation and protection of other surfaces well before painting.<\/p>\n

Think through the sequence of painting beforehand. Usually, the colour is from right to left and top to bottom, but this can be changed to suit the situation. Avoid painting in direct sunlight. Try to arrange the painting so that you can be in the shade while painting.<\/p>\n

NIPPE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wood stains can be applied with a roller or brush. The paint applied with a roller must be brushed over.<\/p>\n

Professionals often use a high-pressure sprayer for painting. The paint can be applied quickly with a spray gun, but the sprayed paint still needs to be brushed over the wall.<\/p>\n

If you want to carry on painting the next day, you can put the brushes in the dirt overnight to avoid washing the tools.<\/p>\n

Drive the nail heads deeper into the tower before painting.<\/p>\n

Mix the paint thoroughly down to the bottom before painting.<\/p>\n

WASHING OF TOOLS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Start by washing the tools with water, solvent or detergent. Use detergent as the last step to keep the brush bristles soft. Finally, rinse with water.<\/p>\n

FREEZE<\/strong><\/p>\n
